Project Description: The COMPASS was design and built for usage onboard an aircraft and thus not making it so mobile. The project entailed developing a variant which could be mounted onto an unmanned aerial vehicle unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) which is built by General Atomics and led through the requirements of NASIC and DOD. This medium level aircraft would process data and develop new wavelengths for future hyperspectral platforms and development new methods for UAV mounted imagery systems.
